Xo2 Degreaser
Degreasers are not an exciting product and as a result very basic, historical chemistry has remained the order of the day. The old theory to use either an acid, alkaline or glycol is to be found in 99% of degreasers available. Some containing such high concentrations of ammonia and solvents that respirators are required.
Xo² relies on none of the above using an advanced blend of emulsifiers and surfactants.
Xo² is an ultra-concentrated, highly effective, dilutable degreaser that is as safe for the environment as it is for the people using it. A unique attribute of Xo² is its breakaway ability from oil allowing the oil to be released from a state of emulsion on entering a water separation system. With the oil floating on the surface, it can be easily managed and removed by use of an XoSorb boom bag. What remains is clean water and Xo² Degreaser (biodegradable) to flow through the remaining chambers resulting in a clean discharge to waste.Most separation systems in South Africa have never worked effectively in their lifetimes and this is mainly due to the degreasers being used in industry. Emulsified oils that remain emulsified in separation systems simply flow from chamber to chamber to discharge with the oil never being trapped. The milky discharge that one often witnesses is a result of micro-particles of oil that can now be readily absorbed into the environment.
